The Struggling Historian

Wait, wait, wait. Before you close the tab, the name will make sense eventually, I promise.

I'm a software engineer from Cameroon. Most of my career has been in early-stage startups: build prototypes, ship fast, gather feedback, improve, repeat until stable, then start over somewhere new. I primarily work with Event-Driven and Microservice Architectures, and I get unreasonably excited about developer toolchains. Removing friction from an engineer's workflow is genuinely one of my favourite things.

I also have an unhealthy passion for history. Ancient, medieval, modern, all of it. I'm not a historian, I just play one on this blog. Expect a few historical breadcrumbs scattered through the writing. You've been warned.
